Ugg contacted us to design a pop-up store in a shopping mall to promote its men's footwear ranges.

Inspired by UGG's signature cosy world, this pop-up was designed as a contemporary chalet. We took up its characteristic architectural codes (pitched roof, exposed beams and wood everywhere) to immerse customers in a warm, enveloping atmosphere. Inside, the mood is soft and welcoming, with comfortable seating and cosy materials that invite customers to settle in as they would in a mountain refuge. Curves inspired by rounded windows modernise the whole and reinforce the feeling of a cocoon. Finally, the wood is worked as an openwork slatted screen, a nod to traditional panelling, bringing lightness and elegance to furniture that becomes graphic and airy.
