Birkenstock, the iconic German sandal brand, asked Share Client to design a pop-up store reflecting its urban identity, in the heart of the temple of Parisian streetwear: Citadium Caumartin, a stone's throw from Galeries Lafayette.

Birkenstock's story rests on its cork footbed tradition and its iconic styles. With this pop-up, the brand wanted to put the spotlight on its world and that of its customers: urban, chic and free, people who shake up the codes every day. Where better to talk about urban spirit than Citadium Caumartin, close to Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, where streetwear meets luxury. To express that spirit, Share Client designed a steel I-beam rising out of the floor and cutting through the space in a raw, graphic way. This structural element, a symbol of building sites and construction, was finished in a champagne tone to combine roughness with elegance, and to catch the eye through its off-centre position. Around this strong axis, shades of cork, mineral tops and understated finishes express the full material richness of the brand, a balance between comfort, aesthetics and modernity.
